
Friends of the Library Book Sale
Thursday, July 31 - Saturday, August 2,
First ARP Church gymnasium, 201 East White Street, Rock Hill
Thousands of books will be for sale, priced at $1 per inch, measuring the height of the book stack. Videos, audio books and surplus library equipment will also be for sale at bargain prices.
Friends Preview Night: Thursday, July 31, 5-8 p.m. Memberships will be sold at the door beginning at $10 for individuals and $25 for families.
Public Sale: Friday, August 1, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday, August 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday is half price day: Books are 50˘ per inch, small paperbacks are 25˘ each, and videos are 50˘. Bring your own boxes; limited supplies will be available. Call 803-981-5837 for more information.
"Reading's all the Buzz" for Adults, June 9 - August 1
Adults can join in the summer reading fun! Pick up a bookmark (or download one) at any York County Library or the bookmobile. Return it after you've read or listened to 3 books, and you'll be entered into drawings for great prizes donated by local businesses!
