The Friends of the York County Library holds four book sales each year, in addition to several smaller specialized sales. More than 10,000 books for adults and children are included in every sale, as well as audio-visual materials. Materials are sorted by category and are priced as follows:
- Hardcover & softcover books for adults & children: $2.00 per inch, measuring the height of the book stack
- Mass-market paperbacks: 25¢ each
- DVDs & audiobooks: $2.00 each
- All materials are half price on Saturday.

Lake Wylie Public Library
Thursday, March 19 – Friday, March 20, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Hardcover and paperback fiction for adults and children's paperbacks will be priced from 50˘ - $2.
On-Going Book Sales
Donated books are also sold year-round at the Main Library in Rock Hill, and at the Clover, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, and York Public Libraries. Books are in "gently used" condition and include titles for all ages, DVDs and audiobooks.
