Checkout and Return Policy
Depending on the type of card you have, York County Library materials can be checked out for two weeks and may be renewed in person or by phone twice, as long as another person is not waiting for the item. See "Types of Library Cards" above for specific loan period and renewal information. When renewing items by telephone, please have your library card number available. Renewals may be made by calling (803) 981-5890.
Return materials to any York County Library Location or to the Bookmobile. Books may be returned to the outside book return boxes.
Please note: Videos, audio books, and DVDs should not be placed in an outside book return box as extreme heat may damage these materials.

- Enter your York County Library card number.
- Review the hold details and choose the location to pick up your item.
- Click "Request"
