Literacy Categories for Library Programming: In support of its mission, York County Library offers a variety of innovative programming that promotes literacy in all its forms. To help the community better understand how our programs relate to literacy goals, the library has created 9 categories that encompass the programming and services we offer.

Let your favorite stories inspire your art!! Each month, a guest YCL librarian will lead a read-along session followed by an art project led by the Arts Council of York County. Learn more and register at yorkcountyarts.org.

The Totally Cool Winter Reading Challenge is back! This winter, we're challenging York County to read at least 2 million minutes for your chance to win great prizes! Join the challenge online or at any YCL location, starting Nov. 25.
